The Dake Foundation for Children: An Organization For Children With Disabilities
The Dake Foundation for Children was founded to provide children with disabilities the tools they need to become as independent as possible.

Our goal is simple: to provide children with disabilities access to equipment and services that will enable them to reach their fullest potential for participation within their families, communities and with their peers. We believe that by providing children with these fundamentals opportunities when they are young, they will have the best chance to reach maximum health, mobility and independence in adulthood; as contributing members of their communities.

The Dake Foundation for Children was established under the name Colburn National Foundation in 2003 and was re-named in 2009 to better represent our commitment to local communities. Our Board and Medical Advisory Panel is comprised of individuals dedicated to our mission. Each brings unique expertise to the Foundation, representing the professions of: developmental pediatrics, social work, law, finance, pediatric physical therapy and pediatric psychiatry.
